Is there anyone who can tell me anything about Hills Store? It was in Stoddard County, Missouri on 153 between Marco and Maulsby. It was about 17 miles from Dexter and it was about 20 miles from Sikeston. There was a bar, store or restaurant there in the 40s and maybe before. This establishment was named Hills Store and the town was probably named for it. I believe the original owners were named Hill, NO s. I would like to know who these HILLs were and anything I can find out about the town or the establishment. There was also an owner of the establishment by the name of Herbert Culbertson. Mr. Culbertson lived in Parma, Missouri when he died in Sikeston in 1987 at the age of 81. He is buried in the Dexter Cemetery. He was married to a Mary Josephine Ake.
