I don't have definite proof but I believe John was the son of James W. Matthews who was the son of John Matthews who named Glasgow, KY, for his hometown in Scotland. I was hoping to hear from Tina because I know her Lizzie Matthews Cartwright was a sister to my greatgrandfather Isaac Matthews.
