Dee, I have looked in the book I have for Miles Augustus "Gus" McClard. He is not in it. I looked under the different spellings of the name. Sorry that I can not help you. You mentioned that his wife was burried in Hayti, Missouri. Have you tried looking for him there also? Good Luck with your search on this person. In case you have the time at some point, he was Miles Augustus McClard, called Gus. Alternate spellings for his surname are McLard and McLaird. His 2nd wife, Amanda Hill McLaird, died in 1924 at the home of a daughter in Hayti, Missouri, and is buried there. I know this is asking a lot from you, and understand if you cannot look it up.
