Thank you for responding so quickly Wilma. I found where my James M. Black and Sarah Conway married in Whiteside Co., IL. Where in IL were your family from? I have been looking for some time and have run across many members of the Black family. As far as being able to verify they were my family the above James M. and Sarah Conway Black are as far back as I can go where I found that they married. Their daughter Emma Adaline (Black) Kinney, Majors was my great grandmother. Emma A. was married to William Greene Kinney then to Thomas Majors, after the death of Wm. G. Kinney.
