ok. According to the Quartermaster report Chiles was the funeral that picked up his body but I may not have the correct date for the exact pick up. I checked all Chiles-Cooper years and he wasn't there, and I checked the others between 1943 and 1950 and didn't find him. Judy, you need to be more specific. I do not check 30 Rainey & Watkins books for a surname, and there are 25 Walker listings in the Chiles-Cooper book. Please give me a full name and estimated date of death. Reread my posting for details. Barbara Taylor Henderson, the funeral records begin in the early 1930's. Please reread my posting for details. The Chiles-Cooper and Bloomfield Watkins books are easy to check since they are only one book each, but the Dexter facilities comprise 30 books between the two funeral homes, and require more details given for me to do lookups. I am looking for the graves of Dudley Houseworth and Rebecca Culbertson Houseworth. Rebecca was his second wife. Thanks!
John Walker was born around 1800 or so. He died around 1888/89.He was married 2 times. Last was to a Barbara Ellen Reffett. He was around 50 and she just 16. He met her on his was to some kind of a doctors convention at a train station in Indiana. He was living in Mo at the time. He had a son with him by the name of Ozias. Ozias was 10. One of John Walkers granddaughter is still living. She has sent me letters about John Walker and he being a doctor and he was a healer among his mothers Cherokee people. I can not find who Ozias's mother was. With John Walker being half Cherokee I was woundering if Ozias mother was also. I have seen pictures of John and Ozias and John is a very clean cut man and Ozias is not. He more red in color. I know that John Walker died in the Stoddard County Area but I can not find any record of him, Thank You, Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick & LeAnn Kelley" <rkelley@blazingisp.net> To: <mostodda@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 13, 2007 10:14 AM Subject: Re: [STODDARD, MO] funeral record lookups > Sheila, I checked Chiles-Cooper plus Watkins and Rainey records for those > years, and did not find your Harold W.
