    1. [MOSTODDA-L] ALLEN, CLICK, FORD
    2. Rebecca A Lamm
    3. Elizabeth Catherine FORD was born 31 May 1854 in , , Missouri. She died 26 Feb 1908 in Duck Creek Twp, Stoddard, Missouri and was buried in Duck Creek Cem, Stoddard, Missouri. Elizabeth married (1) Valentine Henders CLICK on 19 Nov 1876 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, MO. Valentine was born about 1849. He died about 1882 in , Stoddard, Missouri. They had the following children: M Walter A CLICK was born Oct 1877 in , , Missouri. M Auther M CLICK was born Jun 1880 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, Missouri. He died 1960. Auther married Edith Isabella REED, daughter of David Lansing REED and Philomena DERYKE,. Edith was born May 1885 in , , MI. ? ? CLICK. ************************************************************************* ***************************************************** This child was not listed in the 1880 Census, but could have been born and died before that time, or could have been born and died before 1882. The child's father died sometime that year. When Lesley Allen, Elizabeth Catherine's first child with her second husband, William Henry Allen, was born, Elizabeth stated that he was her fourth child. The 1900 Census for Cape Girardeau County indicates that Elizabeth had given birth to 7 children and that 4 were still alive. ************************************************************************* ***************************************************** Elizabeth also married (2) William Henry ALLEN, son of Jacob ALLEN and Nancy NOLAND, on 24 Jul 1884 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, MO. William was born 19 Jan 1849 in , Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He died 1927 in Duck Creek Twp, Stoddard, Missouri and was buried in the Duck Creek Cemetery. William and Elizabeth had the following children: M Lesley ALLEN was born 5 Aug 1885 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, Missouri. He died 12 Jul 1886 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, Missouri. F Vida A ALLEN was born Jun 1888 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, Missouri. Vida married Donald Thomas PARSLEY on 7 Nov 1906 in Puxico, Stoddard, Missouri. F Valentine ALLEN. ************************************************************************* ***************************************************** The existence and placement of this child in the family has not been proved. But according to people still living in Stoddard County, Missouri, there was a child born between Vida and Ernest who died in infancy, and another child born to William Henry and Elizabeth Catherine who also died. One child was a boy and one was a girl. I found the boy, Lesley, so this should, but may not be the girl. And --- the memories of those in Stoddard County may be incorrect. Furthermore, the name of this child may be incorrect. ************************************************************************* ***************************************************** M Ernest Levi ALLEN Senior was born 4 Jul 1893 in Duck Creek Twp., Stoddard, Missouri. He died 19 Dec 1965 in St. Louis, , Missouri and was buried in Camp Butler Cem, Sangamon, Illinois. Ernest married Ellen Ruth REED, daughter of David Lansing REED and Philomena DERYKE, on 21 Apr 1920 in Alton, Madison, IL. Ellen was born 2 Jul 1899 in Leopold, Bollinger, Missouri. She died 5 Feb 1976 in Alton, Madison, Illinois. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ Okay, now y'all know what I know. I'm looking for the birth and death info for the third Click child, and the third Allen child. Burial info would also be appreciated. And if anyone knows where Mr. Click was buried and an exact death date, that would be great, too. Thanks in advance. 3. Joan, Like you, I'm new to the list. When your query arrived, I was in the middle of trying to figure out my Stoddard Co. STEWARTs and happened to have copies of the census index pages handy. There are two (2) Robert STEWARTs enumerated in the Stoddard Co. in 1850. I haven't copied the census data for them, but I did make some notations on my copies of the index pages, as follows: STEWART, Robert age 21 b. MO -- Duck Creek Twp. p. 259 STEWART, Robert age 64 b. VA -- Duck Creek Twp. p. 259 Good luck with your search. HAPPY HUNTING! Janice
