I was told ( hear say ) from the daughter of William JOHNSON that her father was taken in by Lucy (Durham) MATTHEWS and 2nd husband Cornelius SMITH. I was also told of other siblings, but I have no names for them. I also thought the lady told me the parents were killed in a flood or something. You know how stories are told. I would like to find the JOHNSON line. Lucy (Durham) MATTHEWS is my GGgrandmother. Anyway I found them on the 1900 and 1910 showing William JOHNSON. I would like to find out who his parents were.
