The index is linked to image files for journals that include baptisms, marriages and deaths. Previously ancestry.com only had the image files without an index for searching the database. The new index now makes searching much easier. The St. Louis Cathedral records database is part of a larger database called the Drouin Collection. For the database specific to the St. Louis Cathedral the database title is "Early U.S. French Catholic Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1695-1954".
