I am not certain about the exact link but I contacted them about 10 years ago for my son who we adopted in 1971. They sent me forms for my son to fill out and send back to them. They keep these forms and will share info when both the child and one of the birth parents registers. You can also request a list of all births in MO for the date you are looking for. It cost me $28.00 and I got a list of about 75 births for my son's birth date. I ignored the girls and attempted to research all of the males. Unfortunately, no location is given. All births were registered without any identifying info for this list. My son was given to us by Catholic Charities. At that time, they would have given my son's irth parents the info that he was looking for them and they would make the choice of whether they wanted to be found. He would have to pay $300 and go to counseling before they would even see if his birth parents were alive still or able to be found. You can contact the county court in the county that the adoption was finalized and they will send you non-identifying info. I got the name of the doctor who delivered him and he is still a doctor but is unable, by law, to give me any information. My son was born at Firmin DesLoges Hospital which is still in existence but under newer ownership and a different name. I was told they had the records for 1971 in storage, but I would not be able to see them. They are not considered public records. Good luck, Bobbie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
