    2. I have never been a fan of ancestry.com. First I think they take information from people for free and then sell it. Second they have locked up so much information and the only way to get it is to pay for it. I don't believe in that kind of genealogy. I believe in sharing for free. That's the true spirit. Any family member that wants my work is gracefully given copies. That is what has been done for me. I have had people send me 65 pages of their work and charged me nothing and I have reciprocated. Just my two cents. Mary In a message dated 10/5/2008 2:05:26 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: Today's Topics: 1. It is like you have to take a mini course on getting around in it. Once you get in, it is not designed for easy searching. I want to search and find something not study for hours. I am going to unsub fairly soon too. 3. I feel the same way Mary, I had been at a dead end on some stuff for years, and thought I would just take a month. Years ago, I couldn't get my subscription cancel from Ancestry and had a really unpleasant expierience with them and said never again, but I did give them one more chance. But It is annoying that they take the information for free and charge for it, then they make it so hard to find it too.
