The file # is 75833 and the name is George Klein. I am needing to know if the file contains any information regarding Anton Klein who was confined at the LIncoln State Home and Asylum in LIncoln, IL. Anton was the child of George Klein, who perhaps pretended to be his "uncle". Anton's mother was Regina Klein, who died prior to George. George's Wife (Mary or Maria Goetz) died in 1926. A Mrs. J.O. Hitz of Chicago (S. Leflin Ave) may have filed a claim to acquire the $ to care for Anton. Iti s believed she was an Aunt, perhaps George Klein's sister. She is not a Goetz. We know nothing of George's family. If someone can just tell me if any of this is in the file, I will make a trip to St. Louis to obtain copies. I will also know i have found the right George Klein. The Clerk wante 93.00 to copy the file, told me there was no Will and sai! d she wasn't supposed to review the files for people.
