His obit said he was born in New Orleans I am guessing maybe my great grandmother was told a story of them coming into port there??? and so when they did the obit assumed he was born there when everything else says Mo. and his marriage cert said St Louis Mo. I don't know thier religious pref. either sorry. I am assuming luthern like most germans were here but I Am not sure. I did read that alot of Germans came through new orleans and then went through ST Louis to thier destination. I also saw a listing for crew from Bremen that listed a HIR Dornbush BUT what little I could access says his birthdate was 1823 which is close to 1825 which is a possibility??? (Hinrich is Henry in German so it could have been him but then don't know how a wife would have fit in there? (and Frederick was born in May of 1856) and Henry was born in German Prussia 4.9.1825 there is no mention of anyone else in any of the records... and Fred is always listed as Anna's step son in later census. so???? anything you could find whould be wonderful! Thanks so much for your help! Tracey Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
