According to the passenger list papers from NYC when they arrived, they were to travel to St Louis to stay with an uncle, Johann Beckers of 7800 Michigan Ave. I have been unable to find Johann on the 1900 Census. Any help would be appreciated. I know that the Seiferts were in MD by the 1910 census, and it appears that his wife Selma died somewhere in between. I would like to know how long they lived in St Louis or if they ever went there at all. Maybe someone has access to old city directories from 1904-1910 or so, that would be a start.
