He was born in Nov 1842 in Prussia. He was married twice. His first wife died ca. 1877. His 2nd wife died ca. 1877. I believe the 1st wife was named Elizabeth and the 2nd Christina. Charles Spier had children: Anne (born ca. 1867), Emma (born Nov 1876), William (born ca. 1869), and Charles (born March 1873). I have tracked William's family forward, but I don't know when or how he died. Any help would be appreciated. I am especially interested in Charles's birthplace in Prussia.
