Madhelinne~ If I may presume upon your good nature and observant eye, I'd love to know if you run across any Horstkottes/Harstkotte/Horstkotter~s in your St. Marcus rambles. I swear these forbears on my husband's side of the family were native Americans because they seem to have always been in St. Louis! Your posting below was exciting to see because I've looked at other United Church of Christ logs and found some of my hubby's people, but seldom the Horstkottes' branch....which has been confusing. And the e-mail you sent seems to have left out where you found the confirmation and death records....can you fill in that blank for me? Also, where IS?WAS St. Marcus? Kirkwood area? Muchas gracias!
