    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: mcteer Surnames: LENCZNER, LENTZNER Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.stlouis/10056/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have been able to track most of the children of my ancestors, Litman Isaac and Gitel Rywke (GLISKMAN) LENCZNER of Szczekociny, Poland who came to the US, including my great grandmother, Liba (LENCZNER) LIEBERMAN KALKOPF FRYMORGEN. However there is one who was reportedly in the US with whom I have had no luck other than the mention of her first name and location. In Liba's 1932/3 immigration papers at a hearing in San Francisco, CA, she states she has a sister, Rose, married and living in St. Louis (where most of the relatives lived before coming California). Of course neither Rose's married name nor address were provided. So this is the only reference I have for such a sibling. The birth years I have for her sibling range from about 1872 to 1894. It is possible she married prior to coming to the US. I have been informed of two Roses listed in the 1930 St. Louis census: Rose BAKER and Rose O(/A)RENSTEIN. From the funeral home I have learned Rose BAKER's maiden name was STEIN. And there is an MO State Archives reference indicating the second Rose was THALER. I make this post primarily for archival purposes. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
