Note: Occ: Merchant of dry-goods - in Dec of 1863 is right. I wanted to give more information I have on Patrick F. Ryder, and now to clear up my mess. as I mentioned I was thinking B. Collins and Ann being in St. Louis at the same time as Patrick F., may have known each other ?. Paul J. Ryder, born in St.Louis MO, ~1854-5, I have this date because recorded on my Grandfather's birth, father Paul J. Ryder aged 28 years old, on Dec 3, 1882. Patrick F. would have been about 54-5 years old if Paul J. was his son; that seems a bit old for me for a man of that time to have children ?. This is why I started to think Grandson !. Paul J.'s father (unknown), I could believe was born in Dublin Ireland as well, and came with Patrick F. to the USA, then in 1854-5 Paul J. was born. I feel now these dates fit better. I hope to find what happen to Paul J., knowing more about his past may help ?. Patrick F. Ryder, is as far as I care to go back in the past, I feel the name (Ryder) for my father started with Patrick F. Ryder in the USA and I'm good with that. The other information as on Ann etc, is just soooo great to learn about people I never would have guessed. Learning more about them has already been fun, I hope to find more in time, and I can't stop, and not thank all for the help given here.
