I have found that my German ancestors were buried one place if Catholic and another if Lutheran. The archdiocese of St Louis holds the Catholic records and many of them are available in genealogy section of St louis county library online. I am in search of August Schmidt born 6-1-1882 who married Bertha Isenmann in St. Louis Missouri about 1906.
