Could someone explain to me what that was?? I found County Court records dated 1852 for my relative David P. Hull. I found this information on Google Books. David P. Hull was appointed to the first Board of Trustees for this municipality--"And the Court hereby appoint the following persons to constitute and be the first Board of Trustees of said Municipality, to wit: David P. Hull, etc." Were these people trying to create a new city inside of St. Louis or was this the creation of St. Louis county??? Thanks for any help.
