That page (http://stlouis.missouri.org/citygov/parks/forestpark/history/early.html) helps quite a lot, yet is also a little confusing, as the Forest Park Pavilion (now the site of the Lindell Pavilion, on the north side of the park) is probably not the same as the Forsyth home that became the Cottage Restaurant, which was said to be east of the zoo (on the south side).
