I don't know when and I don't know when or where he married Mary Lewis. His son,my g. grandfather, John Williams, was born about 1840-1842 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There were other children.The family moved to St. Louis, Mo. in the late 1840's. There John (the father) and a young son, Samuel died in the Cholera epidemic. Mary Lewis Williams then married a John Toll and he raised her children and their children. Her death certificate states that she was born in Wales. Also, in 1860, on their St. Louis, Missouri farm there was a David Lewis living with them. He was 16 and from Wales also. David was not listed in 1850 or 1870. I don't know of the relationship. I would be delighted with any information you can send me. Perhaps you can find where Mary Lewis and John Williams were married. Who knows. I am grateful for any news.
