    3. I don't remember what St Louis listthe question was posted but I have come across this article in the Feb. 29-Mar.1, 1964 St. Louis Globe Democrat. FAMED OLD RESTAURANT IN THE PARK One of the most famous of all restaurants and saloons in the area was that established within the boundaries of Forest Park, just west of the area where the Municipal Theater now stands. Once the Forsyth House, owned by Robert Forsyth, the home was remodeled and made into a refreshment lodge in 1875 and during the nineties was one of the most popular places in town - far enough out to make it a challenge for bicyclists, not so far that it took more than a day to make the trip. It was managed for many years by a genial gent named Charlie Schweickhardt, who succeeded in making it one of the great showplaces of the city. Hope this helps Madeleine
