My John Williams was alive in the 1880's. My husband's grandfather visited him during the time of launching the Statue of LIberty. Also he visited his home in 1871 as he is on the welsh census as a visitor from America ( but no State ), son born Llanfwrog, Anglesey aged 45 years.
