In the 1900 Alex listed he immigrated in 1849, I still have not found him in 1850. They were from the Odenwald region in Hesse Darmstadt Germany. Johann Adam RUEMMLER born 1800 died after 1860 in the either MO or IL married Juliane HEIST born 1802 died 1846 in Germany. Alexander b 1825 immigrated to the States around 1849, belived to have settle near St Louis MO, then near Darmstadt IL. There is a family "history"on One World Tree on Ancestry concerning Alexander. It says he married twice, having several children: 1st m was to Dorothea Stroch d 1856; 2nd m was to Maria Mueller b 1833 d before 1909. Alexander had the following children: Heinrich b abt 1854; Christian b 1855; Wilhelm b 1856; Elizabeth b abt 1860; Juilane b abt 1860; Alexander b 1861; Maria b 1863; Leonard b 1871. Johann Peter b 1826 Juilana b 1828 Johann Christian b 1831 Anna Catharina b 1832 Anna Elisabethe b 1834 Johann Adam b 1837 believed to have come to the States. Leonard b 1839, Johann Peter b 1841 believed to have come to the States. I have emailed a couple of weeks ago several people who posted in other boards on Rootweb and One World Tree, but have not received any responses. So any help I would love!
