Moore or his wife Harriett P. Moore, who were living at 3521 Choteau Avenue, St. Louis City, in the 1900 Census. Because William was then 79 and Harriet 72, it is possible that they both died in St. Louis within the next few years. William C. Moore was the son of Galehew Moore and Rhoda Laurance/Lawrence and a first cousin of my three greats grandfather John Williams Moore, Sr., of Hawkins Co., Tennessee and Lawrence Co., Missouri. William C. Moore was born in Surry Co., NC, then moved to Hawkins Co., TN, then Polk Co., MO, then Dade Co.
