Riley married Adelline Josephine Benoist in 1832. James ran a brokerage with Marshall Sanguinet in the 1860's called Riley & Sanguinet. at 3rd & Olive streets.. Adeline's mother was Marie Catherine Sanguinet and her father, Francois Marie Benoist. Their children were: William Louis, my gg grandfather, b. 1838, Isabelle, b. 1839, and Augustus Benoist, b. 1843.
