That would have been right on the Mississippi River Bank, that area was warehouses, landing wharfs,etc. and was definitely subjet to floods, not a good place for a hospital or such. According to the St. Louis Public Library, there are many mistakes on the burial permits. I would look for the place elsewere on Market St. as it was and is, a major street in St. Louis.
