It was destroyed in a fire. There are bits and pieces for various parts of the country but I haven't heard that there are any for St. Louis. From the St. Louis PUblic Library, you could get a copy of the 1890 city directory pages. You might want to look at what is available at the library in addition to the city directories: http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/libsrc/geneinfo.htm You can email requests to them. If your family was Catholic, the church records for the Archdiocese were microfilmed and are available through the Mormon church as well as at the St. Louis COUNTY Library.
