Mr. BROWN was for years a resident of this county & had close business & social relations with many of our citizens and he was held in high esteem by all. He had for several years rendered faithful & intelligent service as member of the State Democratic Committee for this congressional district. His father, Hon. James S. BROWN once represented this county in the State Legislature.
