You will need a map to find where O'Fallon falls. http://members.tripod.com/~Vide_Poche/index.html Dave Lossos website has a 1930 map of St. Louis that you could use to find O'Fallon and then look for the boundary streets from Paulette's site. http://genealogyinstlouis.accessgenealogy.com/1930.htm Just read the descriptions of the ward boundaries. It looks like you would have to plot all the wards, starting with the first one since the boundaries use other ward boundaries as a basis. I started doing that for the 1900 census for some reason, and the ward boundaries took what I thought were weird turns. Somewhere I had information about the street numbering system but I cannot find it. What I remember is that Market street is the dividing line between North and South streets. I think the other was that each block consisted of units of 100 but I am not sure. That would make 2307, 23 blocks from the river. On my 1909 map it looks as if O'Fallon ends at Jefferson, just past 24th st. I found an Arthur Flynn on the St. Louis death Index for the 14 September 1871 which shows him living at 717 S. 2nd Street. This would put him south of Market and close to the river.
