My husbands Grandfather was Vernon Voelpel we don t have much info on the Voelpel family. Named was changed to Voel-Pel in mid-20's or so. Someone on the family started the Voelpel soda company in IOWA then sold to Shasta..... (We are still looking for the rich relatives. :) The family is from the Clinton Iowa area. My husband Curtis, his brothers Harold (Ted), and Vernon (Guy) My father in law had three sisters (Liz, Lenae,and Pixie)and one brother, (Joe) Lenea is the only survivor. They all died very young and strangly all in accidents. Pixie - 1970- Car Crash Joe- Mugged and killed in California Ted and Liz - Driving together in Arkansas while shopping.
