Miller. Are there any directories of peopel and theyre occupations, or anywhere i can look for any info on his blacksmith days in St Louis? my grandma mentioned something about him and the st louis worlds fair, and the worlds smallest and the worlds largest horse- maybe he shoe'd them? im trying to see if she heard him accurately on this story..... )side note of interest:he also made free headstones out of concrete for people he know couldnt afford to buy them. his big thing was to insert crosses into the stones in a cubby type hole and cover with glass- they are beautiful- he liked to use the metal letters and numbers on the stones also-mostly silver)he did this in st louis somewhere too..... im interested the blacksmithing mostly. what area it was in. he must have worked in hte area of habart- or hobart street st louis, (writing is hard to read)
