    1. Hales around St. Louis 1860-1940
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Hales, Blackwells, Watts, Kohnle Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WMB.2ACE/4897 Message Board Post: I have been searching for "Ross" Hale for several years, but have not able to locate him. I have recently come into photos that were sent to his son George Robert Hale. George Robert Hale left the St. Louis area, came to Arkansas around 1912, married Sarah Idella Trammell. He died in 1928. My mother-in-law is from this marriage. These photos were of George Robert Hale's siblings, nieces, and aunts. I have photos of Lavina Hale and ClarenceHale, never married. Photos of Sarah Hale that may have married a Mayhan/Mahan. Photos of nieces Ida Watts and Angie Lee Watts (daughters of Margaret Ella Hale Watts and Samuel Lee Watts). Photo of May Kohnle, daughter of Anna Hale Kohnle (not sure of who she married). I have one photo, not labeled that could be either Margaret or Anna with Sarah. I have several pictures of ladies, only one labeled as Lavina Blackwell. All of these ladies favor, so I am assuming they are sisters. One postcard with picture of May Kohnle on front addre! ssed to Lavina Blackwell, St. Francis Co., Missouri dated 1912. Two photos taken by J.H. Fitzgibbon @ 116 N. Fourth Street in St. Louis, these were of men, unlabled. One resembles that of George Robert Hale. From these photos, I am believing that my Ross Hale is George B. Hale that married Mary J. Blackwell of Blackwell, Mo. I am willing to share my photos if anyone can identify them. I'm also hoping that someone might be willing to help with my Hales.
