I am trying to determine whether this Montgomery Ferguson was my gt gt grandfather's cousin. Montgomery was born in 1832 at Mauchline Ayrshire, Scotland. He had brother James Ferguson born 1834 and I notice also a James Ferguson of Scotland in the 1880 census in St Louis with an age giving a birth of 1836. Can anyone tell me if the Montgomery Ferguson above was born in Scotland.. Hoping someone can help. All the best from Robbie in Scotland
