Click on birth/death records on left side of page. Even thought the SS death index shows his last residence in St. Louis, that does not mean that he necessarily died in Missouri. Just means that is what his last address was. He could have been across the river in Illinois or vacationing in Florida. http://www.health.state.mo.us/ Once you have the death record, you can request an obit look up at the St. Louis Public Library.
