The 1880 census has Uriah Spragg living in Franklin Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania with his parents and siblings. Also, there is a marriage record for a Uriah H Spragg, born 27 September 1873 in Marion County, Indiana. The bride's name is Anna B Quinn, born 17 August 1870. The marriage date is 10 September 1912. The marriage is from the county record, book 67, page 462. You may be able to contact Marion County with the information to get a copy of the marriage license or license application. The information on the application may prove or disprove that this is your Uriah Spragg. David in Pennsylvania Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mathilde HEUER which was taken at the Hammer Studio in St. Louis, Missouri sometime in the 1870's or 1880's. Mathilde appears to be in her early teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate a possible match in census records as follows: 1870 census of St. Louis, MO: Henry HEUER, age 37, a Cigar Maker, born Prussia Elizabeth HEUER, age 26, Keeping House, born Resse Kassel Anna HEUER, age 7, born MO William HEUER, age 6, born MO Mathilda HEUER, age 4, born MO Chris HEUER, age 2, born MO Eder HEUER, age 1, born MO I also found evidence of Matilda HEUER being married to Charles NEUMANN on 20 Oct 1883 in St. Louis, MO. I am hoping to locate someone from her family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this HEUER family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
