Gumbo, Missouri is now part of Chesterfield, St Louis County, Missouri. Look up Chesterfield in Wikipedia, they mention Gumbo. The Reavis/Revis family had been in St Louis County since the 1830s. They may be able to find a funeral record of her death at one of the irish churchs.Since you have an exact date. I have had good luck with them. They only charge $1 to email you the image. Some of the church records have alot of family info on them. Good Luck Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You have been kind. It's unfortunate that there seems to be no trace of this man in St. Louis other than in April 1886 Birth Registry listed as father and in 1891 City Directory his widow is listed as Nettie W. Orton, wid. of Eugene. I've checked all the online databases already. I was hoping that maybe your CD's might have additional information not online. No joy such is the luck.
