There's an area where you'll find how/where to order it. I just ordered one from Barnes & Noble for $32.50 tax (free shipping--2-6 days). Meanwhile you can look at some, but not all, of the book's pages including part of the index. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Hello Herbert, If you will go to www.ancestry.com and look at U.S. Federal Census 1880 free look up for Louisa Wendell you will find her at age 32 married to Samuel. a blacksmith. Her father, Nicholas Frank and her children John, Henry and 2 daughters are listed as living with them on 1401 North 13th St. I imagine her sisters will be listed also. I checked my German Elements book and none you mentioned were listed in the index. Also is the name Bolte or Nolte? I am curious because. I have Noltes in my line. Let me know if I can be of further help. And kindest regards to you also from St. Louis, MIssouri, USA Joan Schaller Yeckel jey1@swbell.net St. Louis, Missouri > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: hvscholz > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.stlouis/3365.92/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Hello, > Nicolas Frank emigrated in May 29, 1871 with his wife Margaretha and the children Louisa, Margarethe and Barbara > on the ship BATAVIA to America and lived in St. Louis. > His wife died a short time after arriving. > Louisa married Samuel Wendell, Barbara married Heinrich Bolte (Sep. 11, 1873) and Margarete married Johann Gerhard Rueskens Jan. 8, 1874) > I have the ancestors here in Germany but not the descendants in America. I am now 40 years young, am married and have 2 children of my own. I was put in foster care in 1978 and was adopted by the same family in 1985. I have a great family now and am glad my life was changed the day I was adopted. My mother Lucille Gorman/Nelson is in a nursing home in Montgomery city Missouri. She goes under the name "Mary". I have not seen her in many years. Judy, my sister is in a adult care center for the mentally challenged. I am not sure where that is and have not been in contact with her since I was 15. George, my brother is in and out of the state prison. As far as I know he is in Jefferson City Prison in Missouri. I would very much like to know as much information as I can about my biological family. The state of Missouri was VERY limited to what information they would give me about my past. I would be most grateful for any info you may have. Thank you, Loretta Nelson Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
