Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WMB.2ACE/4609 Message Board Post: Just got records from a family bible that says Peter Peters died in 1900 and is buried in the Holy Ghost Cemetery in St. Louis. It provided nothing further on him. Not sure what he was doing in St. Louis as his two known daughters were in NY. He brought his one daughter over from Germany in 1886, so Peter must have been in the USA prior to that. However, I suspect he lived in the NY area initially before moving to St. Louis. I have been able to find one record to correspond with the family bible information as follows: Name: Peter Peters Death Date: 16 Mar 1900 Address: 711 S 2nd Volume: 39 Page: 97 County Library: RDSL 48 Missouri Archive: C 10404 SLGS Rolls: 331 I suspect Peter Peters was probably only in St. Louis from about 1890 to about 1900. I have experience doing genealogy, but none in the St. Louis area. Can anyone help with guidance, advice or lookups on this one? Is the Holy Ghost Cemetery now Old Pickers? Thanks!
