If they lived in St. Louis, ask for a lookup in the city directories at the ST. Louis Public LIbrary. I think from about 1920 on, the wife's name was usually listed with her husband's. http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/libsrc/geneinfo.htm Found a Fannie Skobel 62/W/F/Divorced (had a W there which was crossed out-at least the way that I read it. She is in Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, CA. ED1591 according to ancestry. The original numbers were crossed out. Born in Siberia-parents same, speaks Russian, immigrated in 1890. Owns her home worth $5000, no occupation. I cannot read the street name. Couldn't find Ivan.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WMB.2ACE/4609.2 Message Board Post: From Dave Lossos' website: Holy Ghost Evangelical and Reformed Cemetery - OC-Mo SLGS Vol. 4. StLMO:, 1982. Holy Ghost Evangelical Cemetery - STLGSQ: Vol. IX, No. 4 (Dec. 1976) by Mabel Faatz - "Holy Ghost or "Old Picker's" at Compton-Wyoming-Louisiana-Arsenal Sts. was opened in 1845 as the Holy Ghost Evangelical Cemetery but for most of the time was better known as "Old Picker's" since that was the name of the church's pastor at the time the cemetery was opened. The city has ordered this cemetery closed several times but the ordinance was not enforced until 1917. Records of this cemetery may be found at Holy Ghost Church, now on Mardel Avenue. {This is not the same as the cemetery on Gravois.)" Comments from Art Robinson (4/7/2001): Holy Ghost cemetery records are at Eden seminary library, archives section, Webster Groves. Dave's website about genealogy in St. Louis which I consider one of the best for information and links. http://genealogyinstlouis.accessgenealogy.com/ St. Louis Public Library which has a lot of information and will make copies for a very reasonable fee. http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/libsrc/geneinfo.htm http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/library.htm

You might want to request a lookup in the other papers. There were some Kettlegardes on the Catholic Cemetery Index but not yours. These are cemeteries owned by the Archdiocese. If the family was Catholic and buried in a cemetery owned by a church, they would not appear on this index from what I understand. http://www.stlcathcem.com/ Any possibility that they are buried back in Illinois is a family plot? Surnames: Bacon, Blize, Blythe Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WMB.2ACE/4429.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I have some Land Patent details that I'm working on. Nataniel Bacon (wife Elizabeth) 1845 will probated. Administrators were William Bacon and Abner Blize. In 1860 census for Edward Bacon - also known as Nathaniel - wife Lucinda with six children listed and 22 year old John Blize and 56 year old Maria also living there. I am thinking that John Blize is related to the above Abner. Perhaps the first named Nathaniel is the father of Nathaniel Edward. I think Blize is a family name from Lucinda though her marriage records of 1849 list her as Blythe.
