You may be able to find a picture or even a biography of Michael. Email the library at the following website and request a lookup and copy. Fees are very reasonable. See item #13 for the email. http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/libsrc/geneinfo.htm http://catalog.slpl.lib.mo.us/web2/tramp2.exe/authority_hits/A007kar4.006?server=1home&item=5 You might want to see what else is available at the library-vital records, obits, city directories, etc. If you do request any of the previous, request like records in one email such as all births together, then another email for the obits. Online index to burials in the cemeteries OWNED by the archdiocese. http://www.stlcathcem.com/ One of my favorite websites for research in St. Louis is Dave Lossos' which has links to other sites and where to write type info: http://genealogyinstlouis.accessgenealogy.com/ St. Louis County library also has a genealogy section http://www.slcl.lib.mo.us/slcl/sc/sc-genpg.htm

Surnames: dust,Kramer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WMB.2ACE/4667.1.1.2 Message Board Post: Michele, John C Dust was found in the 1910 Census 14 Wd,St. Louis I was given : Head, 56, M1(?not sure what this means),38, GER What I am wondering is what the M1 means and I think that it says he is 56 years old, 38(not sure what the 38 stands for) and he was born in Germany. Does it say where his parents were born? Also I was given that he died in 1918 and John C. Dust immigrated 1889 and wife Anna Immigrated in 1883 So I am assuming that she came over first and just wondering who she might have stayed with? Any ideas or special Census for 1885? I was given Obit 1-25-1918 and I am wondering what newspaper that was from and then I am wondering what the Obit might say. does it give place of birth for John C. Dust or does it give his parents name or other names that he went by? Does it tell what the C. might stand for in John C. Dust? Thanks for any help you can give. Marg Dust-Koski

    2. Hello Listers, can someone find Ida Hendrich in the 1900 and 1910 directories? In the 1930 census it shows Ida a widow with 3 children, 2 living. I want the third child's name. The husband died in 1907 in St. Louis. They moved to St.Louis about 1897 from Franklin Co., MO. Thank you, Alan Rossing, Monterey, CA

    3. Alan, I forgot to add that the 1910 census also said that Ida was the mother of 3, 2 living. I checked the 1920 census and it listed Margaret and Anna as daughters, not step daughters.
