Not sure if it would have his parents' names but it might have an address where he lived with his parents. St. Louis Public library has an index to marriage records by groom and by bride as well as having city directories for both city and county for certain years. http://www.slpl.lib.mo.us/libsrc/geneinfo.htm The 1910 census shows that he has been married 25 years, so it would be about 1884-1885.

She graduated from Culver Stockton College in Canton, Mo., in 1942. She was a teacher for 32 years. She was a member and matron in the Stockton chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She became a Davis resident in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 53 years, Dr. Ray D. Surplus, who died in 1996. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Bueneman of St. Louis; daughter Rayna and her husband Gary Bohnet of Lodi; son Dr. Mahlon D.
