    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: HOELTGE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WMB.2ACE/4788.2 Message Board Post: Hello, I found your post by typing the name Richard Hoeltge. I started researching this family some time ago when I was dating the grandson of Richard F. Hoeltge, and son of Richard Bruce Hoeltge. I have spoken to the grandmother )Mrs. Richard F. Hoeltge) for a long time, and 2 years ago she still resided in St. Louis and is listed under the name Richard F. Hoeltge. Richard Bruce Hoeltge, her son died in Corpis Christi TX in Aug. of 1980. From what his son Richard shared with me, his father left he and his mother (Katherine)) when he was a small boy and fought the bottle for years. I have a copy of his death certificate and it list alcohol posioning as the cause of death. His mother Mrs. Richard F. Hoeltge will not speak about this. I have a great deal of information on this family and would be happy to share it with you. Richard Bruce Hoeltge II the man I dated is enlisted in the Marine Corp. His birthdate is 6-11-1967. He is in RECON. He is an only child and has a! half sister named Kathy. His mother and half sister and step father live in Utah. He is stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC and I have not spoken to him in about 3 years. He is probably overseas at this time. I have contacted the Red Cross trying to locate him. I married someone else after he annouced that he wanted to stay in the military and we remained friends and spoke on and off for several years. His grandfather Richard F. Hoeltge was adopted, and Mrs. Richard F. Hoeltge didn't have a kind word to say about her mother in law the great grandmother to the Richard I knew. You are welcome to call me as well and I can send you my information and photos and you can run with this project. I laid it aside after Richard and I broke up, but I love family history and think this would be wonderful to complete. There is a man in the Hoeltge family who is a blood specialist and his father had done a huge amount of work on this family and he sharded a lot of it with me as well. ! The email I have listed belongs to my boss. We have just moved and I have to reestablish my email. My address is Robin Goodman 448 S. 23rd Street Wilmington, NC 28403 910-763-9916. I would be glad to hear from you. warmly, Robin Goodman
