    3. LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois County, Missouri, Friday, March 20, 1931 MRS. REBECCA HILL Mrs. Rebecca Hill, widow of the late Pinkney E. Hill, passed away at the family residence at Bonne Terre Friday morning, March 13, at the age of 64 years and 11 days. She had been ill only about a week, suffering with a complication of diseases. Funeral services were held at the Bonne Terre Baptist church, of which she was a devoted member, Sunday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. B. Ragsdale. The spacious auditorium was taxed to capacity by relatives and friends and the numerous and beautiful floral offerings were tokens of the love and esteem in which she was held. Interment was in the Bonne Terre cemetery. Rebecca Ringer, daughter of the late T. P. and Mary A. Ringer, was born near Bonne Terre, Mo., March 21, 1867. She was united in marriage to Pinkney E. Hill, on March 13, 1894. To this union three children were born, all of whom survive. They are Mrs. Mary E. Long, E. C. Hill and Mrs. Ella Mae Murphy, all of Bonne Terre. She also leaves eight grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ellen Spradling, and one brother, C. W. Ringer, both of St. Louis, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Although her companion preceded her in death thirty years ago, Mrs. Hill reared and educated her children. She was an active member of the Baptist church, and in addition was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge. The church and its auxiliaries in which she served so efficiently deeply mourn her passing. The News offers sympathy.
