FARMINGTON TIMES, Farmington, St. Francois County, Missouri, Friday, August 27, 1915 FOREIGNER DIES IN ST. LOUIS HOSPITAL Chas. English of the English & Son Furniture and Undertaking Co. of Flat River, went to St. Louis last Saturday to bring the body of John Evaneschuck, who died there in Dixin Bros. Hospital on South Broadway, back for burial. Evaneschuck was a foreigner who was employed by the Federal Lead Co. at their No. 6 shaft, formerly called Old Central, and some time ago sustained an internal injury by making a heavy lift, which strained him so severely as to cause a painful and dangerous internal injury, and his case proving very critical, he was sent to St. Louis for an operation and treatment. He died there last Saturday morning and the remains will be brought to Flat River and prepared for interment, at the Undertaking establishment of Dr. English & Son.
