Wow, talk about confusing! I have family buried at Woodlawn. The paper work says Woodlawn. Never heard it called Oaklawn. Beverly For example, Washington National Airport is now Ronald Regan Washington National Airport (as of 1998). Just as Regan is still called Washington National by locals, it may be that Woodlawn is called that but that its official name is Oaklawn as of 1944. It seems to me that is the case from the information collected by GNIS. GNIS says Oaklawn is a variant: Woodlawn Cemetery
