Randy, Yes, Roosevelt Street was renamed Watts Street. When several towns consolidated several years back and the 911 system came into being, a lot of streets were renamed so there wouldn't be any duplicate names which would cause confusion with 911 calls. I believe that Watts Street may have been named after John Wesley (J.W.) Watts who was a two-term mayor of Flat River back in the 1940s.
