LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois County, Missouri, Friday, March 17, 1939 ALBERT EAVES Albert Eaves, son of the late Albert and Susannah Eaves, was born in Dent County, Missouri, January 28, 1866, and died at his home in Flat River, Monday, March 13, 1939, aged 73 years 1 month 15 days. On June 21, 1892, he was united in marriage to Lou Wallace who survives him. He also leaves a brother, Frank Eaves of Knob Lick, other relatives and many friends. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Eaves was a loving husband and a true friend, and was always patient during his long illness. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Farmington. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Knob Lick Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. J. F. Miller, pastor of the Flat River Free Will Baptist Church. Interment was in the Knob Lick Cemetery in charge of the C.Z. Boyer Service. Members of the I.O.O.F. Lodge conducted services at the graveside.
