Straud, of Farmington, surprised their many friends by being quietly united in marriage April 22 at the Christian parsonage in Farmington, Rev. John Moody, the pastor of the Christian Church, officiating. Miss Thelma Williams of Flat River and Albert Hill of Farmington were the attendants. The bride is widely acquainted and well-liked, having received her education in Flat River schools. The groom is an industrious young man and is employed with the Kennon Market of Farmington. Mr. and Mrs. Straud have gone to housekeeping in Farmington. The News extends best wishes.
