LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois County, Missouri, Friday, July 29, 1932 MRS. MARY ELLEN DAVIS Mrs. Mary Ellen Davis passed away at the Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis, Saturday, July 23, 1932, aged 56 years, 7 months and 27 days. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., from the Hoffmeister Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. W. M. Wiggers. The body was then brought to the Boyer Funeral Home at Desloge, where at 2:30 p.m., another service was conducted by Rev. E. H. Zipprodt, pastor of the First Baptist Church at Flat River. Interment was in the Christian cemetery at Fredericktown with Rev. C. E. Warren, pastor of the Baptist Church at Fredericktown, assisting with the services at the cemetery. Mary Ellen Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Wilson, was born in Bismarck, Mo., November 26, 1875. She was married to John Ball in 1892. She was married again to Geo. W. Davis in 1920. Her mother and a daughter, Lucy Iva Ball, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, her aged father, four sons, Walter Byron Ball of Detroit, Mich.; James Otto Ball of St. Louis; Denver Ball of Marine City, Mich.; and Woodrow Ball of Flat River and one daughter, Miss Gertrude Ball of St. Louis. She also leaves three brothers and one sister, John Wilson of Murphysboro, Ill., William Wilson of Ashely, Ill., Dan Wilson of Flat River and Mrs. Lulu Hale of Fredericktown and six grandchildren, besides a host of other relatives and friends to whom the News extends sympathy.
